Behind a destroyed mouth, often lies a destroyed emotional state, due to a series of social exclusions. Turma do Bem offers free dental treatment to the population in conditions of social vulnerability and with serious oral problems.
In partnership with InTCC Brazil, Tdb aims to offer psychological support and care to the beneficiaries of the Dentista do Bem and Apolônias do Bem programs.
The program aims to provide mental health and resilience for life through quality care provided by postgraduates to the beneficiaries of Turma do Bem.
TdB patients will receive psychological care in addition to free dental treatment. This way, the beneficiaries can experience a physical and mental change in their lives, improving their quality of life.
Services will be offered to children and young people in situations of social vulnerability between 11 and 17 years old, assisted by the Dentista do Bem program, and women who suffered violence and had their teeth damaged during the attacks, assisted by the Apolônias do Bem program.
